faraday annoys the shit out of me.. his dialog makes me wanna pull my hair out and scratch my eyes

A little too soap opera dramatic for you?

yea.. he reminds me of that d00d from CSI: Miami, very annoying

That's exactly who I was thinking of, too.

Seeing LOST being compared to a "show" like CSI: Miami makes me nauseous.  F'real.
You never drink alone when you have something good to listen to.

This planet is hopeless.  We lost.  2012 can't come fast enough; I can't wait.

No comparison on the show, just Faraday's tone.

CSI:Miami is sickening.

Puhlease.

I'm about to never read this thread again if you people would compare Dan Faraday who is the badass nerd that's gonna save the world to that ass mucher David Caruso.

Seriously.

Caruso = asshat who deserves a folding metal chair to the face

Faraday = dude who is rapidly becoming one of my favorite characters on Lost

I'm with you RJ both on David Caruso being an asshat, and on Faraday kicking ass.
His tone is the way it is because he knows more than he can let on. We'll know why he's like that before too long I think.

Oh yeah, CSI: Miami is frickin' horrible!!!! I love CSI & CSI: New York though.
You haven't lived until you've had a robot shart in your ear and followed along in the live setlist thread while it happens.

I couldn't have wasted this much time without all of you.

You're not supposed to take David Caruso seriously on CSI: Miami.

At least, I don't think you are...  8-)

No comparison of how badass Faraday is.  He is like the new Locke for me, in the sense that he has some sort of pull that things revolve around.

His tone is a bit dramatic, but I understand he has so much knowledge about this stuff he doesn't want to reveal it all, hence, the dramatic tone.

Escaping peril and confessing your love for a gorgeous woman with the same statement is PIMP.

Clearly Daniel Faraday disagrees and that is what matters.
