Etree DB, HPB, or Companion. Which is THE authoritative reference?

I'm nearing completion of the collection and I'm making corrections and making a list of what I don't have. However, there are a few shows where either the EtreeDB or HPB won't have the show listed, or one says it's one date and the other says it's another. For example:

Is it 11/3/84 or 11/3/83?
Is it 11/14/85 or 11/19/85?
Is it 6/18/88 or 6/19/88?

Or the following shows are shows I have and have listed sources in the etreeDB, but the HPB doesn't have them listed:

10/12/86
2/21/87
11/18/87
2/24/88
2/26/88
4/22/88
5/23/88
6/24/88

I'm stuck in the 80's and it's frustrating! So, help me out, folks. Which is authoritative? I don't have a copy of the Phish Companion, though I intend to get one very soon. Is it the authoritative reference?

I would say the Phish Companion is the most authoritative source.  I believe that Kevin (Shapiro) helped out and gave input there.
also, for all setlists pre-hiatus, The Mockingbird Foundation (publishers of the Phish Companion) has them available online:

Excellent, thanks! That'll be a big help until I pick up a copy.

The companion is as close to definitive as one gets... for now.

OK, the Mockingbird foundation link was HUGEly helpful. Cleared up all but one of the questions I had.

The one question left has to do with 11/15/90 - Orono, ME
It's in the DB http://db.etree.org/shninfo_detail.php?shnid=27171 but does not appear in the Companion (the first edition anyhow). Can someone who has the second edition tell me if it appears in there?

The only source in the DB was transferred by Marmar in 2004. Perhaps it didn't appear in the first edition since it didn't surface until after it was printed?

No show for 11-15-90 is listed in the second edition either.  Preliminary research shows little, I'll keep digging.

Have you sent a pm to marmar yet?  It looks like he mastered and tracked the source you linked.

Marmar has confirmed that this show did happen. He checked it with Kevin Shapiro at the time he transferred/seeded it.

Now I need to pick up my own copy of the Companion.

Thanks all
