as for gainesville he's doin fine, just as much of a pain in the ass as ever. Maybe he'll be back someday

also, just a little note....little hoodie22 will actually be 22 this year. Not quite as exciting as the "countdown till hoodie is 18" birthday, but i just thought it was funny since i threw everyone off with the 22 back when i was 16. Im legal in every way nowadays.

i stopped by to check the 'paug for reunion buzz.  i've been living in a cabin way up in them there colorado mountains for the past few years.  skiing, climbing, raging, chilling, it's been a lot of fun but i was forced to sacrifice certain modern conveniences and consequently i've been without tv, internet, and cell phone signal.  i've managed to assimilate back into society and hope to frequent the 'paug a helluva lot more.

we should set up a week4paug gathering for the upcoming mothership implosion...

Although there was some ridicule, I didn't feel like it was that bad.  As for real-life, it comes and goes iwth pauging.  You can see some people come back around during tour or whatever.  Its just nice when peeps come back.  Hope to hear from her soon.

Hello, things have been good, but busy. NYC is great, although living here is almost more about accepting that you won't be able to do/attend everything you want than enjoying all the things you do get to do.

Anyway, working as an IT Consultant, still attending lots of music, and my gf moved in with me (although that has been a collasal disaster and a whole different topic, lets just say I wish I was single in this city).

Always up for paug meetups in anyone goes to shows on the reg in the city. Now that I have finally transitioned I have lots of paugin and other shit to catch up on.

Late late late last night gah said something about the past few weeks being really stressful and how happy he is to be here. Didn't get into it much more than that.

Perhaps more importantly, another pauger who went mia for a while is here and in great spirits. Ran into whyweigh post-show last night and he was all smiles. Had his camera with him, too.

He's taken a self-appointed hiatus for a short time.  He has a ton of stuff going on at work and was just at Bear Creek.  He's alive and well.  He'll be back soon.

RJ is crafty.  he would ahve created a 2nd personality before he left so as to confuse the weak minded.  it's an easy task to look at who joined after he left but no so easy to figure out the 2nd personality while he was still here.

I was kinda under the impression that rj was all about 3.0 Phish.  I seem to recall him defending them from a few haters possibly including myself.  I'm w/ RJ, Aug, other 'paug dissenters who have "moved on".  If you look closely you will not see a single post in any of this Summer's roll call or Superball threads of mine.  why?  I truly do not care.  I knew back in June 2009 I was hearing a general lack of fiery improvisation and besides a few moments here and there it has been far and few between.  Don't get me wrong I still love Phish(and the 'paug for that matter) and cherish their music daily but I'm not inspired or excited by them.  Their magic is gone, like one of their great jams from '94/95.  In terms of their career, they're playing the last few songs in the 2nd set, ballads w/ an occasional Possum or Hood.

nah, its all downhill after 95 for him.  he tried to psych himself up a few times for teh 3.0, but it never stuck.

I'm not going to bother getting into the discussion that occurred in the other thread (superball licks one I think), but I'll say I agree with all the bolded above.

In all seriousness, I do think the hate has something to do with it.
Hopefully some of these rumored dates start to come to fruition and people start posting again.
I've realized that instead of discussing what I don't like about these shows, I really add nothing to here anymore.  Despite the name change, even I am getting sick on being negative about a band.
Plus, I think people just get busy but will eventually find their way back here.

This...with school starting up again and it being my last semester I need to hit the schoolwork hard.

Also, many times I find myself only discussing the recent shows, or making plans to hit up some shows. The Jan > time they announce summer dates is usually a slow/down time for many  :phish: related messageboards. It is good to see the paug stay tight through this time! But many times a lot of people go do their own thing until its time to meet up with the paug PHAMILY again!

I just realized that Ramsey hasn't posted here since Halloween night last year. Is he still doing okay? I hope he's just been happy and living and that all that conducting hasn't taken it's toll.

Weird that you ask, he just popped in the hub the other day for the first time (that I know of) since the fire.  He was happy that the computer survived and said he'd be back.
