may be cassette gen as there is a bit of hiss, but it's impressively clear
to my ears.

Ben played an intimate acoustic concert for KMTT, 103.7 The Mountain's 7th
Birthday Party. As always, excellent banter from Ben throughout. Unsure
if this was just an in house feed or it was broadcast as there are no
breaks or station ID's throughout the recording. So likely an in
house recording. Notes from other tapers collections say this was
broadcast, but I am unsure either way. Both recordings may exist.
Almost all other tapes list a different setlist than what I came up with.
I'm not an harper expert by any means, but this is what I have. More notes
below, enjoy the show.

(solo acoustic)

Tracklist:

01. One Road to Freedom                  [05:01]
02. Waiting on an Angel                  [04:46]
03. Pleasure and Pain                  [04:27]
04. Glory & Consequence                  [05:38]
05. Banter w/ Austin Powers impression            [04:09]
06. Roses from my Friends               [05:16]
07. Widow of a Living Man               [07:52]
08. I Shall Not Walk Alone               [05:04]
09. Sexual Healing*                  [06:25]
10. Not Fire, Not Ice                  [04:35]
11. Burn One Down > Jah Work               [07:21]
12. Excuse Me Mr.                  [05:41]

* Marvin Gaye cover

the difference between the recording I have and the db are that
"Give a Man a Home" is absent from the recording and "Glory and Consequence"
is out of order with "Roses from my Friends". No cuts are apparent
on the tape so I'm guessing that the db list is incorrect and the above
track list is correct, but who knows.

db show entry:
http://db.etree.org/lookup_show.php?shows_key=49388

the db has this setlist listed for the show:
One Road To Freedom
Waiting On An Angel
Pleasure And Pain
Give A Man A Home
Glory & Consequence
Roses From My Friends
Widow Of A Living Man
I Shall Not Walk Alone
Sexual Healing *
Not Fire, Not Ice
Burn One Down >
Jah Work
Excuse Me Mr.

-Give a man a Home- could be what I labeled as banter, but I'd call
it noodling or tuning at best. No real song structure or anything.

You haven't lived until you've had a robot shart in your ear and followed along in the live setlist thread while it happens.

that's a really good show - I got it a while back.

Did you also post 10-24-94? Listened to that once but want to listen a bit more carefully again. I hadn't heard anything that early of his until now.

The only other one of his I have is 6/19/03 - just listened to that one again last week. If you don't have it I'll try to post if for you this w/e

but keep what's important, and know who's your friend"
