I know it's an all new cast. Is it a different locale, too. Part of what I loved about the first season was Louisiana.

Yeah, this one takes place in LA. That's Los Angeles, not Louisiana.

You haven't lived until you've had a robot shart in your ear and followed along in the live setlist thread while it happens.

That's strike two (strike one was the casting of that idiot who got stuck in a phone booth for two hours and made a career out of it).

Still holding out hope the writing will be really good and the show will continue to be worth my time.

Pretty good start!!
Looks like there will be more storylines to follow in this one than the 1rst season which might get confusing but excited to see where it all goes!

I'm intrigued enough to watch again next week.

wtf
that ending is annoying.
He cant be done, but it kinda throws a wrench in the investigation.
And is not very realistic if hes going to be back on his feet this season

Dood was shot twice with a shotgun, one at very close range, and since this isn't GoT, he won't be back on his feet again..
If this is love, I'm never going home..

maybe some rat shot or like a blank? but still...that would hurt

rowjimmy

Boom! Rubber bullets!
I told you not to assume.
It's getting good now.

emay

^ yeah what criminal shots rubber bullets?
also noticed when he said they were rubber bullets "like the ones cops use"
Which further dives into the corruption of the city and police department or implies maybe someone in department is behind this

GBL

Rubber bullets huh? That's convenient

I still don't know what's going on with story, though, and have been very underwhelmed as a whole..

On a more positive note, I like Vaughns character taking a turn back in to the underworld, and ferrells character taking a turn more on the straight and arrow..

If this is love, I'm never going home..

Last 10 min were pretty entertaining but would have liked them to build the story line a little more before that. Didnt really get the purpose in the story other than kill time for the last 10 min of the episode.

JPhishman

I think this season is picking up now. Not just because there was a badass shoot out but character development has reached a point that scenes like Ray and Paul in the car are meaningful and entertaining. Last season took a few episodes to really pick up steam too so I think there's still the possibility of this getting awesome over the nxt 4 episodes.

How did Ledo know they were coming tho?

I kind of decided earlier to not be bothered by all the plot complexities and implausible dialog, but I have to say I was starting to get a little bored with the episode and the series last night until the shootout occurred.
Is this still Wombat?
