For about the past week I have not gotten a single night of good or even mediocre sleep.  I wake up constantly throughout the night.  Last night I woke up 6 times.  Its weird.  I woke up each hour almost exactly on the hour, give or take 10-15 minutes.  I have not had to take Ambien for almost a month and today I had to call and get more because I can't take another night of this.  All through the day I am dozing off because I can't sleep at night.  I need to be able to function

I've found that a couple of the most "obvious" things really make the difference:

1.  no caffeine after noon or so
2.  make sure your bedroom is quiet and dark.

I used to be able to sleep through just about anything.  And I would always sleep better with the television on or some kind of background noise.  Now just a poke on the shoulder will wake me up.  I doubt it is noise that wakes me up or causes this because I don't wear my hearing aids at night and with them out I can barely hear anything

I myself tossed and turned all night last night, but it was all due to LOST. Every time my brain entered a slightly conscious state it started racing with LOST thoughts.

You haven't lived until you've had a robot shart in your ear and followed along in the live setlist thread while it happens.
