Second set and encore were so money, truly the icing on the cake that has been  :phish: 2015.    :beers:

set II was epic.  i thought the YEM encore was one of the most phoned in i've ever heard.

was hoping for a fluff encore but yem encore is just as good IMO although always seems a little rushed.
fireworks to the vocal jam sounds trippy

huh, while it won't rank as a top 10 YEM, i thought it was well played, and got pretty funky for a minute

Average YEM is good YEM.

But, I don't think our fans do happily lap it up, I think they go online and talk about how it was a bad show.

Midnight show curfew. I swear the YEM stopped at 11:59:59

You're entitled to your opinion but I'm going to laugh at it.

True.

Amazing weekend! Second set was definitely my favorite of the weekend. While it didn't have as heavy jams as the previous two nights, this set fit together so well. Just great!

VDB

Is this still Wombat?

Multibeast12

This set II was what i thought the best of the weekend. Amazing time.

haven't had a chance to re-listen to this yet, but i'm with all of you in calling this 2nd set the best of the festival - easily some of the most cohesive playing i've heard them do in 3.0, if not ever...

spinning that 2nd set right now ... just heading into the bliss that was the DWD jam

here we go:
punch > buffalo bill is a fun opener. again nice transition (this whole festival really) into BB
ASIHTOS - good placement, rocking
limb - standard
waiting all night - weird placement but dig it, vocals are a little weak but whatever.
maze - rockinnnn version. the peak is a little different but sick!
the line - still cant really get into this one
stash - decent version here, jam picks up nicely switching to the major key. gets spacey with some notes from page and trey to fill the gaps. trey hits that uplifting rift n they sink back to stash theme jam, then the build up comes. they hit a little peak and it falls flat and trey returns to the stash theme a little too soon but still nicely played. Could have gone further
Reba - composed section is solid. jam is nice. nothing special here
I Didnt Know - nice bust out
character 0 - rawk

looking forward to set 2

cactusfan

guess i'm not quite hearing what everyone is hearing.
set II is very fun and well played, like most of this tour, but there's not a single stand-out song. far more inspired versions of all the big songs were played earlier in the tour. after so much inspired jamming this tour, DWD, Mike's, Twist, Fuego, and Weekapaug are back to pretty standard 3.0 style rock jams.
not that it's bad in any way, but calling this among the greatest Phish sets ever is just... odd.
maybe i had to be there.

i liked the first night second set better.

mattstick

I kinda hated the Twist.

Mike's is the epitome of a 3.0 microjam. Totally insane energy, loud cacophony for a few minutes, a sloppy outro into Fuego and done.
