This is too far from now.
I'm in. Sort of a mid-life crisis/recapturing my youth on roughly the 20th anniversary of the Clifford Ball, which was one of the greatest weekends of my life. Going to the show with the same gang.

Sums up every 3.0 SPAC run.
Woah. Page and Fishman to play with Phil?!

saw that this morning, knew they were gonna get some Phish members. Fishman and Russo! Thats gonna be a interesting backbone for this Phil n friends. With the string dusters though? Even more interesting....seems like that kinda limits their song selections but we'll see. Sunday night looks good too wouldnt be surprised to see Mike or Trey sit in for some songs there too.
Either way im stoked!
I may pony up for whatever the whole weekend webcast costs. I'm gonna wanna watch just about every set by almost every band.
Very excited for these Phil sets.
I think we're talking to Chris Pandolfi from the Stringdusters today (HFPod Quick Hit from last night's show). Dude's gotta be psyched. He's a big Phish & Dead fan.

i'm sure that will be an option. what do ya think? $150 for the entire weekend??
In that interview Shapiro said "this will be the first time since Fare Thee Well that members of Phish and GD play together". He must've missed the article on his own website about Mike playing with Phil the other night at Terrapin Crossroads.

I think he just likes money and thats a good selling line. Doubt he cares if its true or not.
Count me in for this one as well - cannot wait!
Not giving up on Vegas, of course, but it is dawning on me that I could do the entirety of Lockn' for basically the same cost.
or you could go to 4 nights in vegas
All four nights of Vegas would definitely be more. I'm just aiming for the last two. Still academic at this point. Vegas is the goal.
1 Week!
Psyched!
If you dl the Lockn app, set times are posted.
Summer camp just ended and I'm off for 3 weeks...
I'm trying to weigh Lockn vs. Dick's...
...then weigh the winner vs. visiting the UK, Amsterdam, & Poland w a crew in October.

Yeah. What he said.
^^^Noted, but the travel budget is a factor. The Lockn lineup offers a fuck of a lot of bang for my traveling buck.

Lockn will be fun, no doubt, but

If you fail to take this advice, I will still welcome you happily in VA this weekend.
I hear you about the cost, Lockn will def be cheaper. That being said, I'm rooting for you to go to Europe, I went recently for the first time and had a goddamn blast. Totally worth the extra dough, for sure. Crunch some numbers and maybe we will see you this weekend!

Yeah, I haven't even made it onto the continent but my two trips to Ireland & Scotland in the past year have been amazing.

Looks like the logistics of co-parenting might deny me Lockn & Dick's both, so I'm leaning towards the Eurotrip. Gawd, what choices!

I may not be there with you but it warms my soul to know you're all there together.
I've had a few people from my past lives reach out to me this week asking if I'd be in VA for this one. I think they just assumed I would. I told every last one of them to meet me in Vegas!!
