I'm psyched for our first OK gig. We had planned to get a TX date this fall but it didn't end up working out with the time frame we needed.

We were aiming for Austin the following night but apparently there were a bunch of competing shows that date so the venues wouldn't bite...

That was the goal, but line-ups had been solidified as we were a bit late to the game on this date.

Had quite the 3 day run in Denver this past weekend. One electric set sandwiched by 2 acoustic shows. Colorado has treated us well so far!  I love doing the acoustic stuff - It's so much less mentally strenuous and I can really concentrate on just my vocals. Oh.... and the Colorado w00ks just eat up the bluegrass.  Fish in a barrel I'm tellin' ya...

Had my first Jaunt last night in Stillwater, OK. Had a fabulous time despite getting kicked out towards the end of the show. So i guess I fulfilled my duty in that respect. This time was for the water bottle of whiskey sticking out of my back pocket. I was careless and probably drew too much attention to myself as I was about to initiate my spin moves. The show was basically held in a tiny country bar. In these parts, cigs inside is allowed. I think maybe five people showed up to see the band. A decent amount of people started to pile in around midnight to get theirs in before last call. The boys played a Oklahoma'esque set with a little extra twang. This included a cover of Neil Young's Harvest Moon. The thing I love about the Jauntee is they play covers of stuff that I've always wanted to hear. A few young college dudes definitely had their minds blown a bit. AND there was I think maybe one fairly attractive woman dancing to the band. Was great to see Scott and meet the other guys in the band. A lot of people thought I was in the band, which was super sick for me. That's probably the closest I've ever come to being in a band. My career was short lived. I hope to catch them again in Dallas and in Austin. Hope the rest of the tour goes well Scotty!  :beers:

Good to see you too man! I was wondering why you disappeared at the end of the night!

Last night was a pretty hilarious spot. Super country twang vibe. I was actually surprised even 5 people came out for us - all of them driving and hour from OKC. We'll be back to OK again for sure, hopefully Norman and OKC next time.

That's Conoly Ospovat. Thank BM for flying him into your show. He's one of the best dudes from our college crew.

Connolly was the man. He hung around all night and even helped us load out. Seemed like he didn't want it all to end. Offered us a place to crash and everything.

Man, this place is the best. I've met so many good people through y'all. :beers:

I gotta say... it's amusing to me how I can connect with y'alls friends (who are 10+ years older than me) far easier than I can any average fan of ours. Connely was SO into the music! And after hanging with him for no more than 5 minutes i could tell he was a genuinely good fellow.

Love this place!!!!!

Not the greatest sounding room and the chatter is borderline unbearable at times, but this show was my favorite of the tour so far by a long shot. Pungee clocked in at 40+ minutes, which I'm pretty sure is our longest jam since Tyler joined the band 2 years ago.

Thanks for coming out Tim!

'Small crowd' is pretty relative at this point in our career.  For our first show at a new venue, in a new town, believe it or not, we didn't leave the show disappointed. One fan at a time...

Nice. Thanks for watching. How was the audio? Always a struggle to get the levels right w/o someone else running it while we play.

Also, does anyone still see this stream on our FB wall? Facebook has been just deleting streams lately, even after posting them after the fact. I can't quite figure it out...

Thanks Jeff, it was good to see you as always. I really appreciate your continued support.

You might hold some sort of record for most times seeing a band w/ the least amount of people in attendance. You must be at 10+ shows now? With a grand total of maybe 100 people in the audience for all 10  :-P

It's the folks still in the dark that are missing out. I went a little farther than my"show bubble," but I missed the Smith's show, so I made up for it.  I think the recording from 12-13 turned out great, of course not having anyone in front of me may have had something to do with it.  I think the Smith's show was good because 6-8 of my friends were able to get out to see you.  I am looking forward to the next time ya'll go through this part of the country, I think I will be able to get some more folks out!

Alright, I can confirm that Austin is indeed cool.

We unfortunately got stuck with a rainy night, so I didn't get to explore as much as I would've liked to... but, towns legit. Everywhere you look just seems like 'a cool place to hang'.

Had some sound issues, which hindered our performance, but overall it was a solid first show in a brand new town. Seemed like people were receptive and the venue wants us back.

Always good to see you Dave, and most importantly, I finally met natronzo!!! Thanks for coming out guys.
