now that's what i kept reading everywhere, but i thought it was just so-so.
loved the animation.
loved that it didn't involve a bunch of lame fart jokes and pop culture references.
but the story was pretty bland. i got bored.
i liked the incredibles and iron giant a whole lot better (brad bird made all three).

Kentucky Fried Movie

i love the kentucky fried movie. hilarious. the writers went on to make airplane! and top secret! and so on, and the director, john landis, went on to make animal house, blues brothers, american werewolf, trading places etc.

try watching bruce lee's enter the dragon, then watching the take-off in kentucky fried, a fistful of yen. awesome.

for that matter, try watching airport '75 and then putting on airplane! it's a toss-up as to which is funnier.

Phish doesn't write beautiful music...the beautiful music happens after the written parts.

That movie is all about "Catholic High School Girls in Trouble"

Watched The Brothers Grimm on Blu-ray last night and it was pretty good, the effects were awesome in HD, definitely not Gilliam's best, but hey not every movie he makes can be Brazil or Time Bandits.

Just finished "The Wicker Man" with Nicholas Cage.  It was OK, but really messed up.
