You guys know the rule... If you weren't there, it wasn't anything special...

your overall taste in phish shows perplexes me.

PIE-GUY

One of the main reasons I have enjoyed Phil and Friends over the years is John Molo. This is not going to be good.
I've been coming to where I am from the get go
Find that I can groove with the beat when I let go
So put your worries on hold
Get up and groove with the rhythm in your soul

sophist

You guys wouldn't judge a Phish show without listening to it, so why are you judging a new line up without hearing them?
Can we talk about the Dead?  I'd love to talk about the fucking Grateful Dead, for once, can we please discuss the Grateful FUCKING Dead!?!?!?!

rowjimmy

I'm sick of Phil and (especially) Bobby trying to be the Grateful Dead.

Phil & Friends spreads out a bit from that but not much.
This is just ridiculous.

Weir better watch out. If he gets sick, Rob Eaton will be brought in with a fake beard and no one will be the wiser.

If he starts remembering all the words, I'll get suspicious

Caravan2001

I guess this lineup has gotten together informally in the past, and according to the guys on the GD channel, it's a great lineup.....we'll wait and see..

absolutely.

There is a good reason Molo has been Phil's #1 man for the past 10+ years
Bring in the dude!

I have no beef with Russo playing with Phil. Molo may have had his own reasons for moving on to something new.

I just wish Phil would do something new.

He should be starting a free jazz band with Russo
