You haven't lived until you've had a robot shart in your ear and followed along in the live setlist thread while it happens.

Not even Linda Hamilton's ta-tas could swing the tide here.
Is this still Wombat?

I just want to say for the record, I like T2 more.

Same here.

I think the general consensus is that T2 is a better flick, no?

no. first one is cameron's best movie. arnold as the 'cute' terminator in part 2 is not nearly as interesting to me. and the bad guy, while cool, is too indestructable to be truly menacing. he's like a bad guy in a fantasy movie in that sense.

i find the first movie to be more real and intense and frightening.

I use records for that and don't have to justify it to my friends.

I agree about AHnolds character. T1's terminator was much more terrifying and, as you put it, menacing. It's just that I loved T2 as a kid, and grew up watching it. I wasn't as familiar with T1, nor am I now. The last time I watched it was the edited version on AMC a few years back. I need to go back re-watch it, and form an up-to-date opinion/comparison of the two Terminators. Now that I'm much older and mature, I have a feeling I may change my opinion after watching it
