NEED WINDOWS HELP!!

heyo,

im having a problem logging onto windows from my laptop this morning.
usually when i turn on my laptop i type in a password for the user profile and it lets me in.

today when i type in my password im getting an error message that says:
"the User Profile Service failed the Loggon.
the user profile cannot be loaded"

...and im stuck.

any help appreciated.

The logon service has stopped running.....

Boot into safe mode, open your services, and make sure stuff is right in there....

yeah, i skimmed through the info in that link yesterday and when it started talking about registries i got wary.
it might take me a few days to wake up and get focused enough to do it.

i was hoping maybe i could just get around this starting in safe mode.
thats about as far as my pc knowledge goes, lol.

also, i have only skimmed that link, but were the "three" things mentioned 'options' or 'steps'?
do i need to do all of them or just one?
it says "methods' so i'm assuming just try "method 1" first and if that doesnt work move onto 2, 3?
