But, I don't think our fans do happily lap it up, I think they go online and talk about how it was a bad show.

ned_ryerson

But Punch does have a job! that man can Reconcile a purchase journal like trey can play the national anthem!
wait..what?

pnchundi

All of them.

pnchundi

thank you mr minor...

ok here's my mini review of 12/12.

funky bitch- banging out of the gates! mike is ripping, everyone is right there with him. page and trey have nice runs too
>2001- this song underwent major surgery in the cowfunk era.  lots of build-up, mini peaks, more build-up. CK5 is going nuts with the lights too
>Camel Walk-  ok, im good. Just call it a night.  Camel walk is super funky
taste- slows down the dance groove but still a solid version.  page is great
bouncin- yes its a bouncin
tweezer- nasty funk like the kind you catch from a 2 dollar whore.  pretty tight, and lots of fun
train song- not a fan of this, really slows things down again
character 0- more rocking close to the set

first set opens with a killer tri-fecta of funky goodness.  Tweezer is great too

i saw it again- kick down? bordering on hard rock, nice to hear them play this.  after the heavier vibe from the spring europe run, nice to see them bring it full circle
piper- twisting, turning, lots of heat
steep>swept away- nice breather.  blends fall 96 with da funk
prince caspian- at first i was fighting this but the longer jam won me over.
izabella- they were kicking this songs ass when they first played it
tweeprise- i like this placement more than in the encore.  smoking!

guyute- damn, this show has legs! pretty well played, great ending release
antelope- ok, you cant do this in an encore.  Its just not fair!

first set as mentioned is very danceable, with opening 123 and tweezer as the easy highlights.  second sets opening is great, nice caspian (is this the first one that is really opened up?) and a strong end with iza/tweeprise.  and the encore is the stuff of dreams- a really well done guyute with a fun jammy 'lope.

b+/a-  (sorry other then the waste encore i think 12/11 is stronger)
