Brady recently signed for less $ than he could have so the franchise could spend more on other players - I wonder how he feels about that now that they let Welker go to Peyton's team.

end of the day, the offense with or without welker wasn't going to be their problem.  they need a defense, most notably a secondary.
they need a corner (whether it be Talib or someone else) and there are a bunch of safeties out there that can help them.
it does hurt that one of their biggest roadblocks to the super bowl did just get better by signing welker though.

If Amendola/edelman can stay healthy, I would agree with you.  That's a big IF though.  He's the only receiver ever to have 5 straight seasons of 100+ catches.  Guys like that don't come around often(obviously).  But yeah, their D has been a glaring need for years now.

I find it hard to believe that a Bill Belichek team would have a mediocre (at best) D. But, for the past few years...

Exactly my thoughts.  I'm interested to see what they try to do with the defense, draft, and release of Welker.

Sorry, bvaz. Looks like we're not gonna get to see how Sanchez does under a new coordinator. Although that's probably a good thing since Mornhinweg would put the ball in his hands 50 times a game.

everything I've heard, smith won't play this year. Far ears would come in if Sanchez is benched.
It's a multi year process. They need a whole new offense. No qb can win with those receivers.

I like the jets draft so far
