I made wikipaug's first template!

http://week4paug.net/wiki/index.php/Template:Setlist

You basically fill in the variables from the page as you can see how on 1998-04-02.  The top portion is complete as a template.  This will keep everything consistent.  Next, I'll figure how to do variable length lists (for the actual setlist) and add/not add the arrow or >.  Another variable length list for the notes and other links.  And we'll move on from there.

So check out the template, then the code for 4/2

Well, I don't know right now...  These templates are nice, but with the formatting and different length lists, it's not looking good.  I like using the template for the title, that makes it easy, but it's still a copy-paste to use it on another setlist page.  It may just be easier to go with what we had.  I'll continue my in-depth research.

Well, I'll try to learn some more, but as you can see on the page, I have decided that even with a template, the user still has to have a certain format to what they enter.  If we get a group to do the entry, we'd be OK because everyone could be easily taught on how to enter the lists.  I like the template for the top part of the setlist page, but that's it.  This is just my professional opinion, If you guys can figure out how to do it with code or something else, then great, but in order to keep the scope small, I'll go back to that 1998-04-02 and maybe set a link to "discussion" which could be show reviews.

Also, how should we handle photos?  I almost think that there should just be a link from the setlist to a "repository" that contains all reviews and pictures and stories.  Maybe a page called 1998-04-02x (replace x with whatever)

We'll see.

Jephrey.
