No beers for me.  Didn't have time to make it to the store.  I'll have to make up for lost time this evening.

Funny would be applying super glue to your nuts and putting said nuts on her face.  Talk about "seeing the light" and remaining faithful to the indigo girls manifesto.

So I tried some of Colbert's "Americone Dream"  Stuff was pretty darn good!  I may have to grab another pint some time......I would recommend giving it a shot.

Knowing that I'll have a job in September and won't have to move again feels great!
He was kidding somewhat, but he meant well, and I couldn't be happier. To have a 'real', non-contract, job, will be a huge relief. Hell, this place even has a real honest-to-god pension plan IN ADDITION to their 401k.

damn...

My wife is kinda in the same boat, but still looking.  She is a painter by trade, who has worked mostly under the table in the past, looking to go legit, all the while trying to figure out how to care for our 2 month old little one.  Very frustrating for her, as I sit back feeling a bit helpless while working 60 hrs a week just to make ends meet.  A steady and understanding employer would be great, but a tall order.
