^ This guy that is an old head thats been seeing shows since 94 was telling me about this show at work the other day. Him and friends started their 95 fall tour at this show and rode it all the way to the end. Said they were laying sheets for the rest of tour and ran out of paper and vials :shakehead: He said they were so high so they ended up walking around the lot with a the tray of L telling ppl they can take a little sip of it if they want or a little scoop, said they got that place lifted.

Sick dark Melt, heavy hitting gumbo, and beautiful slave in the first set.
Makisupa > bowie...some great 95  :phish: here! Gets wierdddd and then its ice > kung > ice, sweet! Shaggy dog! pretty good second set. Def think it starts off better than it ends.

7/19: Moma. McGrupp >  Disease. The Ghost is good too, just not as good as 7/21.
7/20: Gin. Kind of cool on the second set, like the Sea and Sand, but......
7/21: Fluffhead (like the McGrupp from 7/19, ser rough in some places, but redeemed in the end), Tube, Antelope (6/10, there is a better one coming a couple of days later), Mike's > Simple (although not as head over heels with the Mike's as some appear to be), and Ghost > Katy. Love the Ghost.

Kind of surprised, given Shaps fluffing of 7/21, that it isn't a release. It could stand on its own.
Dysfunction and itemized lists of people's failures are where it's at.

7/24: Wolfman's > 2001. I've just about talked myself into this being a better than average version.
7/25: Ya Mar. Fee > Antelope (!). *LUV* this Antelope. Maybe the best thing played out of these three shows.
7/26: Bowie. La Grange.  This Bowie is somewhere in the 6-7/10 range (for reference, the 11/14 Bowie later in the year is a 9/10....for 1998), but what struck me listening to it is: Bowie just doesn't sound like this anymore. The solo in La Grange is a ripper, albeit lifted straight outta Julius. It may get dinged for being too rawk peak-ish, but I think of it more as the four of them just attacking and attacking and attacking.
Dysfunction and itemized lists of people's failures are where it's at.
