That sucks man.They showed up for me, but I really couldn't make out what the first one said, and when I tried another it was almost as hard. That 2 second delay may have killed me.

I got through. I had two 3 day tickets. It said credit card declined. BUT THERE IS PLENTY ON MY CARD and the online statement is not showing an attempted or declined purchase.
I tried to enter another card, it would not let me. every time i tried to reprocess my card, it said CARD ALREADY ON FILE!?

yeah dude, it worked, but it still didn't help, my place in line was over 15 minutes, then starting coming down, to 8...6...4...2...1.....then BACK UP to 8....9.....5.....3........and bam.....bumped me out....after that i was done for.

Every major venue in North America has an exclusive contract with Ticketmaster, so no TM = no Phish at Hampton.
Didn't Pearl Jam do tours without using Ticketmaster? Not a Pearl Jam fan, but I seem to remember that. Maybe if Phish still does the summer festival things like they used to, they could sell all the tickets themselves. Forget ticketmaster.

I honestly don't know that not using ticketmaster would increase fans chances of getting tickets. The reason why it was so hard to get tickets to these shows is because Phish is one of the most popular acts in the world. The more fans you have, the harder it is for each one to get tickets.
I agree. It's just a shame that Ticketmaster "runs out" of tickets, only to suggest a company they own that is offering more tickets at ten times the price.

Well, what then? other than my e-friends here, I don't know a single person that scored. Scalper tickets weren't nearly as high last go-round. and even if they are temporary, they're not gonna drop nearly as low as what they were in '03 (or I don't think so at least)

Every show I attend now I try as hard as I can to make sure the venue is selling tix. I've saved a lot of cash doing that.
