as an actress The Burning Bed was her best performance, an abused mother, she left her husband in the middle of the night and torched him.  She kind of set the bar early for those cheesey Californian beach shows i.e. Pamela Anderson.  Before the advent of the 80's supermodel, there was Farrah.
