sick fucking show. inspired song selections and on point playing, like RJ said we listened to most of it on the ride home and I was blown away by how tight they were, Trey especially. listen to the Roggae, they actually nail those drops which is rare in any era

Page's favorite song. LOL.

So Page must hate Monkey right?

Did you hear the banter? Seemed genuine to me, esp the part about Mike telling Page NO every night.

I only heard parts of it, but I got the impression that they were fucking with us.

Sorry, you're still the only one who hates Monkey.

Listened through BBFCFM this AM and it sounded pretty good!

Yes! I was with a few first timers, the reactions to that were priceless

Same thing happened to me, it was my friend's first show and I actually played BBFCFM at the hotel before the show saying "I hope they play silly/absurd stuff like this tonight and fuck with your head." Then they did.

But, I don't think our fans do happily lap it up, I think they go online and talk about how it was a bad show.

You haven't lived until you've had a robot shart in your ear and followed along in the live setlist thread while it happens.

anthrax

not a huge fan of what's the use (the song, not the man) but it works for me here inside steam.  also, 46 days has come a long way this tour.

also, the end of piper is great!

Ha!  I'm def in the minority with that one.  It just always seems to appear at prime time in the 2nd set, and it slows everything down.  2nd sets are for raging.

VDB

Second sets can also be for heavy psychedelia, and WTU fits that bill nicely.
