I would have enjoyed that first set.

That was my first thought upon seeing the setlist.  A lot of my favs up in there.  Set II appears to be no slouch either.

I'd have been SUPER happy to be there. first set and second.

Sometimes we live no particular way but our own.

Marmar

had a great stream all night....

great way to start a run, the jam into simple was good.
Who's the Marmar? I'm the Marmar!!!

Phish doesn't write beautiful music...the beautiful music happens after the written parts.

<gainesvillegreen> now, if they could get their sound to be as good as the lights, we'd have a band hee-yah!!

Music is what feelings sound like.

That may be the best Golden Age....  i'm not sure, but it's definitely in the top 3 with the Fall '13 versions.  This version has 2 separate peak sections.  Trey just wouldn't let it stop.  Also, early in the jam Page teases "We Can Dance If We Want To" by Men Without Hats.

***edit***   "We Can Dance" tease by Page at 7:30 of Golden Age

I think I got it but he's such a spaz he'll probably never open this thread again

Really good Golden Age for sure!  Bodes well for the other nights.

So.... Trey needs to learn what the hell he does in Home during the chorus.  Dude fucked it up both times!

Also, the studio version of this song > live.  So much.  The fact that Page took the synths out of the chorus, and doesn't do the organ in the bridge... come onnnn mannnnn!  Those were the 2 elements that fucking made this track!  Laaaaame!!!!!

Golden Age was def the highlight for me. Thought Trey was going to abort multiple times... but he kept on raging!

Some nice ambient jamming at the end of this steam as well.
