This show (2 sources) might be of particular interest to folks on this site ... MMW w/ Trey!
The band is INSANELY HOT right from the start -- the opening 45min of this gig is GOLD - GOLD, I tells ya! The improvisation that gets things going is sublime, and some MSMW tunes without Sco sound just as good (better? HA!) ... and then outcomes Mr. Anastasio ...
Some have mixed feelings about Trey w/MMW (or any guitarist), but I dig his sitting in ... you can hear him searching for a pocket to fill at times -- super hard to find in Miles Behind, especially if you don't know the tune, which he wouldn't considering this is one of the first performances of the tune. Trey finds himself more at home after that tune, and really rocks some grooves with MMW following him for portions of the set ... then they steer him as well ... back & forth ... groovy tunes, folks!

Thanks for this! I listened to it last night while working through a paper on 3M's current and past litigations.... To say the least, it was the saving grace for me while trudging thru patent lawsuits involving a company with 55,000 products. :music:
