3 weeks with no runs is torture.  Going for therapeutic massage today though.

Sucks, dude.
We've all been there.

You're telling me bro! 3 weeks with no running?

Man, I've been there approximately 150-180 times!

Okay, I'll leave now.
Bring in the dude!

For a non-runner, you sure do post a lot in the Runner's thread...;)
Sounds to me like you want to start!

Just ran a local 5k
20:30/6:35p
4th place in AG, but I'm still happy to run a sub-21.

Also, evening races are fucking weird.

New 50k program starts tomorrow.

Nice Augustus

I was happy that 3 weeks ago I ran my first sub 7min mile.  Then 2 weeks ago on a 5 miler I had a 6:23, 6:30, 6:50 miles along with my best 5k time.    I normal run about 7:30.    Considering that 3 years ago this week I was 275 pounds I'll take it.

nice ( x 2)

I usually run the Jerry Garcia race end of July on the Charles, but because of construction of the path along the route and troubles finding a new venue, it's been cancelled.
I'll have to find something else

Thanks.

5k PR today and I felt awful during it.   Called it the hops and barley hill run.
Dropped over 100 lbs from my high. Should have seen the docs reaction when my resting pulse was a 48 in the office and my BP was 102/60.

Awesome

I need you to come to my office and talk to my patients
I'm sure they will listen to you more than me

My doctor asked me to speak to my friend that referred me to him.

1. Stopped high fructose corn syrup
2. 3 weeks later stopped highly processed foods
3. 3 weeks later stopped all artificial sweeteners

As soon as I stopped the artificial stuff the weight poured off, its poison, pure poison.  I also do Insanity or Insanity Max 30  5days a week and run 1-2.

Basically, when people ask I tell them to eat real food.  If you can't grow what's in it you have no business eating it.  That and food does not come through a car window.

still keeping up with the 1.5-2 mile routine with about 1-2 off days a week even with this sinus infection, sometimes it hard to get the circular breathing going but its been working
feeling good and getting a good nights.
