Paulie (who got wacked in this scene) was the one who sold out Vito, resulting in the Vito's attack and Sonny's subsequent rise.  Later, Sonny is lured out of his home (by Carlo, who sold him out to Barzini) and gunned down at the tollbooth...

I love Sundance, on of my favorites.
But, the Godfather has to win

Then again I thout Pepper would win
