"the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist"

No one saw that ending coming. The first time watching The Usual Suspects is one of the most engrossing movie experiences of my life.

You haven't lived until you've had a robot shart in your ear and followed along in the live setlist thread while it happens.

Easily Kevin Spacey's finest role. Not to mention the only relevant movie in history to feature Stephen Baldwin.

This is probably the toughest 1st rd matchup for me  :|

Gotta go with Kaiser Soze
His eyes were clean and pure but his mind was so deranged

It's been long enough that I really don't remember Alien much. Makes this fairly easy.

Remember when Chazz Palminteri was one of the hottest names in Hollywood?
Is this still Wombat?

Usual Suspects is a favorite of mine, but it's no Alien.

Definitely need to watch Alien again if you can't remember it.  One of the best horror films of all time.

Yeah, Usual Suspects hands down for me.
If we could see these many waves that flow through clouds and sunken caves...

yep.
I watched this flick on a plane.
on the way back, I had to wacth it again.
I got home, rented it, and watched it with my wife.
as soon as it was finished, she had to watch it again.

"It's a 106 miles to Chicago. We got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses."

seriously, though. if y'all haven't seen Alien for a while, watch it. on a big TV. on blu-ray. it's so beautiful. if you really want to be surprised, watch Aliens right after, and see how shabby and cheap it looks in comparison. yeah, it's a fun action sequel, but it's not anywhere near as good as the original.

plus you need to prepare for Prometheus this summer...

justjezmund

Suspects is in the top three dramatic thrillers of all time. So yeah sorry ms weaver.

I use records for that and don't have to justify it to my friends.
