Really a lot of fire in the UIC Bowie. The Mind Left Body jam in the intro is great and all the teases just fit so naturally in the context of the song. It's a well played raging Bowie that is a ton of fun to listen to. Unfortunately it's going up against a monster

A nice, spacey/standard intro gets the Orpheum version going nicely until Trey jumps the gun but I'm cool with it if they would make up for it like they're about to every time they stumbled. It's raging along like a typical Fall '94 Bowie and it sounds like they may start to wrap it up but they have a lot left in them. ~12:45 is the another segment permanently imprinted on my brain. A couple mins later it sounds like they may be getting ready to bring it back to close the Bowie properly but it's just another 1.0 fakeout. Fish is ready to end it ~17:40 but Trey and Page aren't done yet and it reaches that gorgeous space that the Lassie bit in Providence borrows from. It builds back up until they reach probably my favorite part ~29:15 and Fish really likes what's going on around 31 mins. Finally, they get nice and chaotic before absolutely slamming back into Bowie at breakneck pace, almost a little too fast for Trey's own good but they hold it together and close it out all nice like.

As good as UIC is, this one's a no brainer for me. In fact, I think Orpheum could give Providence a run for its money in the next round.

UIC is extremely solid. Love the Hendrix teases at the end.

But Orpheum is a monster. The vacuum solo and ensuing jam are just gorgeous. Big time Bowie, it gets my vote.
Is this still Wombat?
