Far flung bits of Sun and bits of Stars
From the  ocean from the land from the

I always liked m/s recordings. Loved workin on em too.....there's just something about the imaging that appeals to my ears.

Nice work Jason!
Who's the Marmar? I'm the Marmar!!!

Phish doesn't write beautiful music...the beautiful music happens after the written parts.

<gainesvillegreen> now, if they could get their sound to be as good as the lights, we'd have a band hee-yah!!

Music is what feelings sound like.

Me too...  There is an MMW Bonnaroo m/s tape that comes to mind...

Oh! That! No, no, no, you're not ready to step into The Court of the Crimson King. At this stage in your training an album like that could turn you into an evil scientist.

It's a pretty crazy recording idea, particularly when one realizes:

"Surprisingly, the M-S technique is one of the oldest concepts in stereo audio. The theoretical basis for it appears in Alan Blumlein's seminal 1934 patent, although it wasn't until the stereo experiments of Danish State Radio engineer Holger Lauridsen in the 1950s that the technology caught up with the theory."
