To all Widespread Panic fans,

I am a new fan to this band. I started listening to them about 2 years ago, but very limited. After seeing them live in Philadelphia (2016, Mann Center), I have not been able to stop listening to them. I am going to see them again in Nashville for 2 nights for the New Years run. I am excited! I can not believe I will have the opportunity to see them again live, in a large arena with thousands of fans for a NYE run.

This discussion is open to any talk about the band, songs, tours, shows, stories, history, albums, etc. I would specifically like to know peoples top 5 favorite songs. After listening to all the albums very recently, my top 5 songs are as follows:

1.Driving song
2.Bear's Gone Fishin'
3.Fishing
4.Fishwater
5. Aunt Avis

I like all the songs that have something to do with fish. Haha.

Peace and Love

John

I've been coming to where I am from the get go
Find that I can groove with the beat when I let go
So put your worries on hold
Get up and groove with the rhythm in your soul

like most sequels, this second post doesn't come close to the hype of your first post.

"I used to be 'with it', but then they changed what 'it' was and now what I'm with isn't 'it' and what's 'it' seems weird and scary to me"

You haven't lived until you've had a robot shart in your ear and followed along in the live setlist thread while it happens.

I just went to the moe. Website and their drummer or xylophone player has italian recipes

Can anyone comment on the quality of these recipes specifically the Pasta fajzooool.

Also Google assistant seems to think that moe is a hiphop group that just released an album called assertion.

This shit makes the lyrics to Cavern sound like frickin Hamlet.

Quote
Bear gone fishin', mermaids missin'
Got to get to the bottom of this
Kissin' the wound from the captain's harpoon
Unexpected moment of bliss
Loss is closer, tip of exposure
It's sunny at the edge of the sea
Baby knows what she really wants
She get the most of make believe
Spy vs. Spy, baby's a freak show
Line forms just to the right of your keyhole
Follow and cruisin', ain't it amusin'
Hair hardly moves in the breeze
Baby gets restless, breaks out of fortress
Soon there'll be somethin' to see
Forces close her, glimpse of exposure
It's sunny at the edge of the sea
Baby knows what she really wants
She makes the most of make believe
Spy vs. Spy, baby's a freak show
Lines form just to the right of your keyhole
Eyes from the paintings seem to follow
Mirrors cap both ends of your telescope.
Ah, shucks
Sweet
Petite
Spy vs. Spy
Spy vs. Spy, baby's a freak show
Lines form just to the right of your keyhole
Eyes from the paintings seem to follow
Mirrors cap both ends of your telescope.

I mean seriously, that's some junior high poetry right there.

But, I don't think our fans do happily lap it up, I think they go online and talk about how it was a bad show.
