What's a good way to convert FLAC/SHN to MP3?

Is there an easier way to convert my FLAC/SHN files to MP3 besides converting the uncompressed files to AIFF and then converting via ProTools/Peak or iTunes?  I'm on OSX.......Thanks in advance....

Also, I still want to keep the uncompressed file set too.....Also, how can I convert my AIFFS to MP3 in itunes without loading the AIFFS too?  Right now I do "COnvert to MP3"  but then I end up with both file sets and have to delete the uncompressed- don't I hold command or something?

you can try Max.  i can never get it to do EXACTLY what i want, and i don't think it does SHN yet, but you can go FLAC to MP3 or AAC or whatever.

you may want to search for the Developer/Nightly version on there, i'm sure it'll be a lot more feature-packed.

yup, hold in OPTION before you even click on that menu, then when you click on it, it will just say "Convert to...", which brings up a dialog box asking for the location of the source files, so select your AIFFs, hit OK, and it'll create the new files in iTunes - the source files are never imported.
