Not sure if there are any out there that pays attention to horse racing but this is the one race that I actually pay attention to.
I've laid down some modest bets on a few to win.

I'm watching it. Not because I chose to, but because it just happened to be on that channel.

I don't think I've ever watched it, and I certainly know nothing about it. Is it just one, one-lap race or what? Are there different "classes"?

I could give a shit about horse racing for 363 days a year, but I become an expert on Derby Day. I could do without all the pageantry and shit, but the race really is the most exciting 2 mins in sports and today was no different. I've never bet on it, but I'll always watch this and Preakness, and then usually forget about the Belmont once the Derby winner loses at Preakness.
