Vermont Public Radio is running a one-day drive today to build a longer-term fund to assist Vermonters once FEMA and state money run out, which they will soon. It's expected that locally-owned small businesses, especially family farms that lost crops and herds on top of incurring serious property damage, will be the primary beneficiaries.
