if so many people are sure it's going to be the Curtain With, i'm guessing it won't be.
too obvious.

how many people called Piper in '02?

2001 with a 10 minute intro before Fish drops the beat.
Place would go ape.
a

that would be awesome.

Short Round

03.06.09

1. All Things Reconsidered > Tweezer > Number Line, Bathtub Gin, The Moma Dance -> Phase Dance, Tela, Chalkdust Torture

2. The Oh Kee Pa Ceremony > You Enjoy Myself, Scents and Subtle Sounds, The Horse > Silent in the Morning, Harpua

E: Fluffhead, Tweezer Reprise

I'd be happy with this...
No time for love Dr. Jones!

natronzero

Obvious answer is YEM, but that's too obvious. That'll be snuggled into the first set somewhere though, maybe to close?
Curtain and 2001 are both good picks, but I don't know...
I want it to be Buried Alive.
And they won't play Fluffhead. At least not til Summer tour...
I'd rather dwell in some dark holler where the sun refuses to shine, where the wild birds of heaven can't hear me when I whine.

DoW

first song will be chalkdust.
fluffhead will be 2nd encore on 3rd night.
Music is meant to be heard

The Curtain With.
There will be a Fluffhead during one of the first three nights, too.
a

Curtain With works on so many levels.

I was gonna say Chalk Dust, but I always guess that (worked on 1/2/03 :-D).  However, I'm gauranteeing it opens the second show.

JPhishman

Yeah we are good for a Chalkdust opener at one of the shows. I'm calling for a heavy Simple at some point too. oooh it gives me goose bumps just to imagine the glory of that one. But the first song back.......... how bout AC/DC?  :-D

gonna have to go Back in the Saddle by Aerosmith.

But, I don't think our fans do happily lap it up, I think they go online and talk about how it was a bad show.

Yep
I predicted that in one of the "rumor" threads a while back and stick to it.

i said that last night in the rumor thread...

my guess is:

The Curtain With, to start things off in the way they should have ended.
A new song, to show that they have new stuff.
Get Back On The Train, well...  for obvious reasons.
Fluffhead/YEM/Divided Sky, to show that they actually give a shit this time.
2001, because of what August said about a 10-minute intro before Fish drops the beat
Glide, because that would be cool because of the lyrics.

these all make sense, but I'm really pinning it on a new song or Fluffhead.
