Kung Fu 5/18 Sinclair
Dead and Co 5/30 Great Woods
King Gizzard 6/14 Royale
The Jauntee 6/15 Middle East

Caught Percy Hill and Pink Talking Fish (with  :sbw: ) last weekend. Aside from seeing Trey at Levitate, a local fest right after the fourth of July, and David Byrne at the end of July, my summer is severely lacking in the live music department. Oh well.

They were great.  I saw them when they reunited last year, and it felt like I was rediscovering some of my youth.  Naturally, I went back to the well when they announced they were playing 2 more shows this year.

Nice. Last time I saw them was either '98 or '99 at Stone Coast 420 Brewery in the Old Port in Portland.

PIE-GUY

I only saw Percy Hill once - our friend "Red" Ryan was on the homecoming committee and used a huge budget to fly them down and play - may have been Rites of Spring, not homecoming. Either way, I was impressed. They were pretty damn good. This had to have been 1994-96 timeframe.

Super jealous!  The local Slayer and Co. farewell shows are during our 15 year wedding anniversary weekend getaway.  Why'd I have to go and get married?
