Am I the only one who gets a kick out of this?  :-D

Everything is connected, because it's all being created by this one consciousness. And we are tiny reflections of the mind that is creating the universe.

Still confused tho, which same dudes are you talking about?

I mean, '93 GD isn't the best but realistically JGB had a rotation of like 15 songs.

Yes, JGB had a small rotation this tour (pretty well discussed on RJ's podcast, which I highly recommend- one of my fave episodes easily) but there are some freaking nuggets.  Pretty hard to get tired of Shining Star when every version on the tour is an all timer imo.  So, yeah, short on variety, long on inspiration imo.

That's awesome.  I loved Buckeye.  I wish I saw more shows in '91 but I was all in on the Phish that summer.

That's pretty sick!  And first show is 1966?   I would say that qualifies as "deadhead from way back when" lol.  He must have seen some sick stuff.

Yes. It's amazing the shows he's seen (like Hendrix, to name one I'm outrageously envious of). He lived (and lives) in L.A. and was around for pretty much everything noteworthy in the psychedelic scene of the era, knew everyone, etc. Recently when I mentioned seeing that Orange Sunshine documentary, he proceeded to tell me more stories about those guys than were in the movie.

He still gets out to shows now and then. He likes Phish and usually catches them when they're in L.A.

That is amazing, the stories he could tell.

thanks for the heads up

ETA: not familiar with this show.  '82 may well be my least heard year or '84.  Looking forward to spinning.  Gets good reviews.
