What a start to a show.  Best show opening ever?

07-29-98 says no.

So much this. The best show opener I've ever witnessed and the Greatest Of All Time IMHO.

You haven't lived until you've had a robot shart in your ear and followed along in the live setlist thread while it happens.

But, I don't think our fans do happily lap it up, I think they go online and talk about how it was a bad show.

Fuck yeah. Such a great night, a completely random run in with :wtu:, and the first Phish show for two of my kids. Both totally hooked afterwards, lol.

Hard to top that. Except with maybe a tuna sandwich...

I hope they do a formal release of this show at some point on vinyl, though.

You're entitled to your opinion but I'm going to laugh at it.

Burgers on the grill instead of tuna, but we're getting primed and ready for this one!

I'm sure this was a lot more fun to be in attendance, but this was a blast during the livestream.

When they started the lawn boy jam I was convinced they were gonna type II every song and I was out of my mind excited

This Lawn Boy is still Lawn Boy and still dynamite.

The crowd roar when Trey starts modulating the Sample solo is an IT moment.
