I'm tired of the whole FLAC>ALAC conversion process. Anyone have a portable FLAC player made by Cowon (such as the iaudio series)?
I understand Cowon makes excellent portable digital music players (audio&video, multiple codecs) -just not sure which one to get

Some complain about the UI. Took a bit to get used to, but wasn't nearly as annoying as reviews made it sound.

Do away with the conversion. This thing owns every PMP I've ever heard.
Can't comment on the more current models though.
I have a Sansa Fuze. Cost me 70$, plays all my flacs. I too couldn't be bothered with the damn conversion. Also something to consider, the Sansa takes memory cards (the tiny thin little squares 8 gig squares) so I can fill up a bunch of tiny cards and have weeks of music to drive to.

I have one and love it. I use 2 128 GB cards in the slots and use this on the go and on my home stereo system.
the discounted price is because the next generation is out with wifi access and a touchscreen, etc. however, this is a great price for this. someone I know received it 3 days later, new in a sealed box.
This may sound stupid, but...
I've got an LG Tracfone that I have a 64 GB microSD card in and it plays flac files. The phone only cost me $10 and it sounds great (through headphones and plugged into speakers). It kinda sucks as a phone, but as a flac player it's great.

Loved that thing until the day it bricked out of nowhere.
Now I just use my phone and a sd card. Silly 2011.
