Good times.  Didn't have the IT factor that last night did, at least imo.  I ran out of gas tbh.

NMINML is a beast.  Fish put on a clinic in robotic machine drumming.  Looking forward to others thoughts.

No Mans was great.  The >into steam was really nice too.   Blaze on was solid as well.

Very solid show, certainly nothing to criticize from what I saw/heard, but I agree that it didn't have the x-factor last night did from the first note of Punch.  There were some really great parts, but I've already listened to Night 1 three times today.  Don't think I will be doing that with this one.  Either way, the band is crushing.  Night 3 should smoke.

I agree.
You definitely ran out of gas.

I wanted to reserve judgment a bit. There were some really nice moments here. The Blaze On was really fun, and the one huge spot of energy was Roses actually. I thought the place was going to erupt. No Men was just a crazy fun, deep jam that really transitioned so well into Steam (agree with Boba big time). Always love Rock N Roll. Tonight should blast off!

You haven't lived until you've had a robot shart in your ear and followed along in the live setlist thread while it happens.

I knew it.

I thought the > Steam was a wreck.  Mostly because Trey just can't wait to start singing.

I love keying in on Fish during shows. I don't do it nearly often enough.
Is this still Wombat?

So the stash, Bowie, and vultures had some very bad parts from trey...he seemed off mentally and instead of backing off getting his shit together he was just pushing on and messing up more...I don't think he took it too hard though, because he definitely seemed happy.

Blaze on got space and funky, and I really wanted this vibe to continue for the rest of the show.

Water in the sky had some flubs again, but trey kept trying to nail what he was hearing in his head.

YaMar was standard.

Vultures.  See above.

Roses was good and the energy was high.

46 days was a robotic breakdown that was good.

Bowie was rough to start but the ending was solid and this was probably kurodas best work of the night.

Glad I skipped from Blaze On right to Set II!

Moma was nothing to write home about for new and exploratory, but now bad either.  Page seemed a bit low in the mix for most of the night, despite playing some nice sounds on his various gadgets.

NMINML was on point.  Several different jam styles in this.  Really liked the dark outer space parts they got into.   I still think that segue into steam was good.

The tempo of steam took a bit to get right and it was trey wanting to get right into the verse as MBW said.  This didn't get too deep, but was solid and treys tone was very nice.

Chalk dust got rowdy.  Lots of excitement in the room.

Fuego is well liked by most of my crew and this one was solid.  Nothing out there really.

Joy. Oh boy.  Could just skipped this and done a mellow fuego jam.

Suzy was unexpected and the drummer was on fire.

Rock and roll delivered a feel good sing song ending.

I enjoyed myself without any mental lube and definitely would not have had the clarity to remember all of this if I had been.  Appreciated the people watching and ck5 did a very good job.  Enjoyed watching the peeps behind the stage rock out during no mans.  Also, falafel and a pickle was as good as I remember.

:beers:
