Sounds like you had an awesome time on Twiddle tour!

Loved the New Album Documentary, by the way! Good stuff.

You haven't lived until you've had a robot shart in your ear and followed along in the live setlist thread while it happens.

I can only imagine how much I would hate people at an event like 'roo.

Those new ones weren't working for me.  Not nearly enough tape on them.  Ideally last night's mishap brings back the tape look.  Also, I almost always buy the glasses insurance.

Amongst a tour w/ an abnormal amount of highs for us, this one might have taken the cake for me. The Variety Playhouse is one of the nicest venues we've ever played and I personally had amazing stage sound this night (a rarity). One of those rooms where I hit my kick drum and can FEEL how gigantic it is for the audience. It's a super powerful feeling that I've only experienced a handful of times. Theatres are a whole new ballgame sound wise when compared to clubs. Me likey.

I wish we would've got a better recording this night. It's a bit off center and I think there's an issue with one of my AKGs... but you can get a solid feel of how big the room was and how enormous the sound was in general, which I feel made us step things up a notch.  It's a pretty straight forward, quick show, but we really hit some huge peaks in almost every jam and the audience response was great! Would play again!

eta: Jeff's pull from this night is much more centered > https://archive.org/details/jauntee2018-09-27.mtx.flac2448

Bring in the dude!

August

Just listened to this and the previous night today!
This one was def more jammed out, but I felt like the crowd was a little more responsive the first night?
I liked both!

I listened to Jeff's recording the day he put it up. That Renny Mang is AWESOME!!! Glad you guys are getting to play better and better spots!
