Title: Phamous Phans
Post by: mistercharlie on January 08, 2015, 06:26:57 AM
I thought for sure we had a thread about Celebrity Phans, but I couldn't find it.

I was really surprised to find out that Jeremy Shockey was a Phan. And not only that, but he took Page to the Playboy mansion with him.

When someone spells a thread title like that, I tend to believe that they've been hacked or are being held against their own will in some dark locale.
Blink once if you're ok, dude.

Anyone remember that show 3rd Rock Phrum the Sun?  Joseph (mike) Gordon-Levitt from that television series was at the '98 LA Greek show.

My friend said he sat by Steve Wozniak at Shoreline 2000.   Also said he played Tetris the whole time.

Let's not phorget The Nanny, Phran Drescher who was seen *ahem* powdering her nose backstage at one of the 2.0 LA shows.

Also, I sat next to Corey Pheldman in the phriends and phamily section at one of the Vegas shows, maybe 2000 or 2003.  Dude was pretty cool actually.

And his brother is/was Burning Dan, who was not only a regular in the Burning Man community, but also featured prominently in The Discovery Channel's "Inside LSD" special.

Now I'm picturing Les Claypool and/or Fishman chasing him across the stage and tackling him on a lawn.

Betty Gilpin (from GLOW, American Gods, Nurse Jackie, etc and pulling Alison Brie around by the hair in the pic below) has been on both WTF w/ Marc Maron and Ask Me Another in the last week and talked about being a big Phish fan.
