These 5-77 Paladium Comes a Timesss... Gaaaaaahhhh....

That's my jam...beyond good.
i was tryi nto remember which of theses shows was ur fav. Both 5-1 and 5-4 are insane.

5/4 is my #1 show, which is crazy because I am not a huge 77 guy.  Not saying it's the best show out there but it's the one that speaks to me the most.  5/1 is also unreal.  Was really surprised when they didn't include 5/4 in the 'May 77 box.
its interesting both those shows, the 1st one i think has Dancin>BEw, and the 2nd has bew, dancin... rel intersting back to backs they were messin with.
both tunes just on fire at this point as well.
again the PLayin is prob the tune thats most suprising me around this time. I never really thought of it as strong in 77, but all these april/ may version are super experimental and type 2-y.
-and then the Comes a Times are just orgasmic.

The Playing>Comes A Time>Playing from 5/4 is just sublime.  That Playing goes into some deep, deep space.  To me, 5/4 as a whole sounds different than any other shows.  Really special. The fact that they didn't even play an encore tells me that they felt they left it all out there on the stage and there was no more that needed to be said. I go back and forth between the board, the Jerry Moore aud and most usually now, the Hunter Seamons matrix.  I love the aud because you get the full crowd/audience between song stuff that the SBD misses.  I love this show so much, I even like to listen to the non-musical parts!

I gave 5/4 a spin. Great music! I gave the matrix a shot and ended up preferring the SBD, for the record.

Second set is flawless.  SBD is what I cut my teeth on back in the day.  It rules.

Apparently that Giants Stadium boxset announcement is coming soon, not at the MUATM.

Also some rumours that 11/11/93 is the next JGB release.

A couple of my HS friends were at that show.
