Being on call.

After a hell-ish week at work, I just spent my Friday night from 8:30 (starting to get a nice buzz) to 2:00am working on mainframe problems.  Now, the highlight of my night is to finally go to bed.  I never even got a chance to burn any herb.   :-(

the key is to really concentrate on being a pessimist.  If you're good enough at it, it gets to the point where you're often being pleasantly surprised by humans.

instead i should have just started a thread entitled:

so basically i'm just condescending and not necessarily a pessimist. :-)
