Going Stash because the feedback in the Bowie at the 11 and 16 minute marks is annoying.
Seriously though, although the Providence Bowie is indeed monumental it doesn't really go anywhere substantive until the 19 minute mark or so. The Orlando Stash on the other hand is pretty much money right out the gate diving right in to the 25 or 6 to 4 jam and then never really letting up.
But if the Bowie wins here I can live with that too.

Too close to call?
One vote is still a clear lead.

Sure, but the outcome is far from certain is all I meant.
Also, if this shit ends in a tie you are all a bunch of socialists.
Kind of a disappointing turnout so far, you would think the finals could draw as many votes as the Bozeman Tweezer/MSG Mike's debacle.
It's hard to get up for what feels like a Lakers vs Celtics competition.
damn...
i will go with the stash here.
For fuck's sake
Doing my diligence and giving them a head-to-head today. I know which way I lean but hey, listening is fun anyway.

Yay for Obama!
Both incredible pieces of music.
I went with Bowie.
Stash has a sweet Reba jam, but Bowie has a sweet McGrupp jam, with an even sweeter Page piano solo over top of it. Bowie just goes so many interesting places, and so effortlessly.
Just think if they had followed up the Lassie bit with the DFB from Orlando... then back into Bowie...
AND STASH TAKES THE LEAD!!!

wrong. Stash goes into many more interesting places then Bowie, that's what I deduced yesterday after listening to both back to back on a long, stoney bike ride through the country side. before I listened I was thinking Bowie all the way however after a careful listen or 2 of Orlando, it was obvious the improvisation in Orlando is more refined and more adventurous. The Bowie too is Phish w/ out a net yet Stash clearly builds upon what they achieved w/ the Providence Bowie and then some.
for those peeps who are voting w/ out listening, please listen to the music then cast your vote, you might change your mind like I did.
TIED! Coming to the WIRE!!!!!!
Thing is the post DFB stash reaches into the heavens and rips the entire universe in two....swallows it, and like a giant dragon out of the darkness and milky way circling behind it, roars it's firey breath onto your face until it melts to the floor. Someone needs to change a vote. 14 mins to go.
The Esther jam alone from this Stash tops anything from the Bowie.

WTF is going opn. Change your vote. At once. At once I say!
Nice, because I'm listening to this Stash and it's just way too fucking good for me to change my vote just to prevent a tie.

There definitely needs to be another round with the heavy hitters that weren't included this time around:
DWD, Antelope, Hood, Piper. . .
Thanks again for running it jimbo, good times.
Glad to see the right version won! I was busy watching Alien. Kinda fucked up how Bilbo Baggins got all bukake'd there. But Jones made it through OK, and that's all that matters.

I'm definitely down for another round in the fall if there's interest. In the meantime...
Nooooooooooooooooo!
Oh well, at least The Stash Oddessy came in second.

A showdown between all the top versions of Jennifer Dances?
I have had these playing in the background for the past month at work. This list has so much win that listening on repeat for the past month has not been an issue. I keep hearing new things everyday, hence this post, reiterating that this Bowie is a dragon fart! :rockout:
