Just saw that Jim has been hired by Magic Hat to do the label for their seasonal due out in Jan/Feb 2010.

I think it's the mediocre artwork actually.

Have you guys actually looked at the "3D" Festival 8 print?  Even the color version is hideous.

I would agree.  His festival 8 piece does absolutely nothing for me.

Yeah. That was not too good.

Pollock and Magic Hat are a good fit.
Both offer a mixed bag of quality and hard to swallow products.

I haven't seen the "3D" with glasses... but the color version, while very busy, is slightly enjoyable to me.  I think it is way too busy...but I do like it a little bit at the same time.  I definitely don't detest it.  I don't understand the 3D print at all...what the attraction is...what the motivation was...anything about it.

I don't understand the purpose of that, either. 

Unless Trey was going to pull off some awesome Bruce Springsteen like "crotch-slams", I don't get it.

Trey knows how good it's going to look when he takes off his jacket during the breakdown in Tweezer... it's going to look so good it needs to be 3D.
