Goodfellas vs. The Shining
for my taste, this worked out strangely. much more sensible would have been Raging Bull or Taxi Driver against 2001 or Strangelove. so it's now sort of the battle between the very good but not the best movies of these directors.
the Shining means more to me, though. i hope Kubrick pulls it out...
