Anyone know what's involved or how hard it is to synch up an audio track with video.  Essentially, I was thinking of taking the Island tour Team Hood DVDs and synching it up with the LivePhish soundboard audio.  Obviously, it wouldn't be fair-tradeable, so it would be a lot of work for pretty much myself.  Just wondering if anyone knows how difficult it is and if you need special software or if it's something Nero can do.

Marmar

This has already been done.....

I made DTS versions of the entire run....

It is a pain in the ass, I can tell you that much.....yes you need special software....no nero can not do it. You need to time stretch, and quantize every 3 minutes or so for exact results.....then you need to remux the stream back into the video feed, and then re-author the dvd.....

Took me a couple of weeks per show.....and I'm pretty much what one can consider a pro......so, if you decide to embark on such a mission, good luck!
Who's the Marmar? I'm the Marmar!!!

Phish doesn't write beautiful music...the beautiful music happens after the written parts.

<gainesvillegreen> now, if they could get their sound to be as good as the lights, we'd have a band hee-yah!!

Music is what feelings sound like.

This is beyond Nero...
You need something like Vegas to do it right and Marmar is right, it's time consuming and difficult.
I've done it for one show and, honestly, I probably won't bother again.

If you haven't been turned off of the idea by now, I'd say that as a beginner your best results might come with Nuendo or the aforementioned Vegas.

Yeah, after reading the replies I think it's safe to say I won't be attempting this anytime soon.  Thanks for all the responses, though.
