Afaik their last tour sold out every show, so I'm really expecting them to be able to pull MSG later in the year.

Row says, "No."

Hicks

Looks like they're afraid to even play in the NW, so they can't be that big, since everyone knows this is the center of the musical universe!

Seriously though, if they did play here I'd probably check it out, just to see what the big deal is all about.

But, I don't think our fans do happily lap it up, I think they go online and talk about how it was a bad show.

rowjimmy

I heard a track on the nugs.net podcast from last month...

they were in serious contention, and I mean serious,
neck and neck battling...
To the point that I cannot even choose which band,
between them and another,
was the worst.

I've decided it was a draw.
SCI held on to the last.

Hicks

I doubt I would dig it, but I am always (well with certain exceptions, no I wouldn't go see SCI or OAR) down to check out a band live before passing judgement.

Do a search for a post by myself about the db and Haymaker fest...

Hicks

Found it, not the longest review I've read, but informative nonetheless.

Damn, Rj does not like the biscuits...and MSG means Mississippi Stomping Grounds BTW :-)
The events in our lives happen in a sequence in time, but in their significance to ourselves they find their own order; the continuous thread of revelation.

Haymaker 02 is the only time I ever saw the disco Biscuits and, they bored me.

But what you didn't see, was this:

Don't get me started on Disco Biscuits. all I can say is that if you want to have peaks in a jam, you have to have valleys too. Dynamics lacking. I've given them a fair shake by downloading a couple and seeing them live. glad it was at a festival so i could walk away no poorer. sad it was on the late night stage at the festival and that you couldn't actually escape the sound even when the police tried to turn them down and fined the fest organizers.... nuff said.

I failed to mention that the producers actually got the PA turned down but then the band's sound crew turned it back up. Shitty . Real Shitty.

redrum

did anyone here catch the Lupo's or North Hampton shows? were they good??

i almost went but......

....i just couldn't do it.

You guys know the rule... If you weren't there, it wasn't anything special...

Anyone who ever played a part, they wouldn't turn around and hate it.

danje

I'll be seeing them this Saturday at Jam on the River in Philly.

So the buffalo show was yet again off the hook

first set was good nothing amazing
Sweatin bullets, High wire>i rember when, nug huffer> frog legs

the sweatin was a great opener. got the crowd going and then the nug huffer was amazing.

set two is kind of a blur because it was nothing but a transfusion dance party.

i remember starting off with basis>floodlights>basis>Solstice>inverted waves

but the best part of it all was the confrontation > reactor

Amazing show! the band didnt want to stop playing because there was so much energy

i  need sleep so ill give more information tomorrow
I owe Aug $20
