The composed section of 12/31/95 is pretty rough too.

Yeah, if we are going to require beginning to end perfection with this song, it will all but whittle the pool down to about three versions  :|

EDIT TO ADD: Still early in this thread, but I am surprised there are no votes for 1996, 1997, or 1998 versions of this song? The August 1993 versions are missing too as of yet.

Dysfunction and itemized lists of people's failures are where it's at.

Most definitely 8-16-93 is a favorite and 7-16-98 too.

Can't say I really remember any notable 97 versions, but maybe I'm just blanking?

But, I don't think our fans do happily lap it up, I think they go online and talk about how it was a bad show.

I use records for that and don't have to justify it to my friends.

11/14/98, 6/13/94 and 7/6/00 deserve a mention, too.

Mr Minor

Personally, I love 11-25-94.

But there are so many good ones between 94-95.

12/7/97. They didn't play it very much that year (in relation to other years)

I haven't played yet, so:
8/7/93
5/27/94
7/3/94
6/19/95
12/7/95
12/11/95
8/14/96
11/8/96
6/19/04

Off the top of my head, those haven't been mentioned yet. In general, you can't go wrong with a Reba that was played in Fall 1994 or Fall 1996. December 1995 was pretty good, but I don't rate 12/2 and 12/16 versions. The version from 3/1/97 is pretty good, not sure why it was cut. 6/19/04 was the last great Reba Phish played imo.

I just listened to the 10-21-95

That was really fucking good!

Other than that obviously the 12-31-95 one is really nice as well.

I'm not sure if I followed this thread correctly, but what guys are saying is that Dave Thomas sold crack in inner-city DC in the mid-80's, right?
