Wife will not be thrilled when I hit the Boston and Manchvegas shows on Turkey Weekend.  Who else is in for those?  Birdman?  Superfreakie?  Anyone else in New England for Thanksgiving?

Also,  :wtu:, will Penuche's be two sets?  Will the soundman stick around for the show?  Important questions here.

It's just an idea at the moment but I'd love to see some Jauntee again and the NH gig is really close to my bday. There is an extremely slight chance I could convince the wife to let me head down there for a surf/Jauntee excursion. I would also rather get an entire Jauntee show as opposed to them in an opening slot if I'm gonna make the 7.5 hr drive.
Definitely gonna try to make something happen.

I like the poster too. At this point, Luke pretty much does whatever we wants.

Super psyched about the Southern. McGruppster + WTU professional worlds collide!

Thanks big time BM, I'll see what my wife is thinking for the bday with the fam that week.
That would be ideal to get 2 nights in, it's just logistics with one car, etc., not sure if I can pull it off.
We'll be in touch as it gets closer.  :beers:

Thanks for listening everyone. That's all I ask. Give us a chance. Maybe even a second chance. Beyond that, your opinion is your opinion. I realize our (my) faults. We have so much room for improvement.

I'm excited by our new batch of tunes, maybe more than ever  - and I've realized it's essesnrially impossible to seperate yourself/personal feelings towards tunes you write. How do I know if what I'm writing is shit, ya know? Maybe it is! I guess I'll never know...  more than anything.... I'm really just thankful for anyone that listens. Thank you.

And we lapped it up. At least I did. I dig the new music,  :wtu:

The best thing you can do is road test the new stuff and come back to Boston and kill it opening for Twiddle at the Paradise 11/25. Now that Tyler is pretty fully embedded in the sound of the band, I think all you need is some solid targeted exposure to really get heard. The 'Dise show will be big, I think.

Can I get a roll call for that show up in here? I know some of you are coming...

The Jauntee crushed their gig opening for Twiddle at the paradise last night. I'd guess close to 300+ people in attendance when they went on stage. Dirty George opener put smiles on all us Paugers faces.
I wasn't all that impressed by twiddle, not that they suck it just was sort of a whatever.
Great night partying with the extended Paug crew. Might have to do it again tonight.

Also, there was a scalper outside the very sold out Paradise selling tickets for a hundred bucks each.
Pretty sure that was the highest price ever for entry into a Jauntee show. Our boys are coming along in this world :wtu:

Such a fun week of shows. Thanks for coming out Wendell & fam (his daughter even made it to her first jaunt!) SF, jmitchell, Paul.

I'd put both nights with Twiddle as a pinnacle experience in performing for me. I couldn't stop smiling during the Boston show. It's so damn fun playing to huge, raging crowds like that. Everyone cheering at the 'right' moments.  Also -- chicks in the front row!  :sbw:

Milestone-y indeed. Gigs like these are the big payoff. We gained more fans in 2 shows with Twiddle than we did in the 10 shows leading up to this run.

As far as the Colorado move, I think you're onto something :wtu:

Awesome, sounda milestone-y!

So moving to Colorado next month or what?

Milestone-y indeed. Gigs like these are the big payoff. We gained more fans in 2 shows with Twiddle than we did in the 10 shows leading up to this run.

As far as the Colorado move, I think you're onto something :wtu:

That pic from Boston is EPUC!
Sorry I missed you at Brooklyn.
11PM on a work night during my busy season isn't easy.
What was the set?!???

No worries dude. The late weeknights are rough all around. You sorta have to 'be a thing' before you can get solid crowds on weeknights.

I think we played an hour long 'The Goal' or something, not sure...

Yeah that Boston pic looked epic!
And what's that about the plans to move to Colorado?!?

I've simply chosen
to remain neutral on that.
Ain't no time to hate.

It was a thing getting there and back again but totally worth the trip to see The Jaunt last night.

Regretless > Hence > Dirty George > Quadraphonic Fence > Dirty Job was epic.

Everything else was good too.

If you're looking for a quick one to check out -- the Asheville set was only an hour, but is a pretty good snapshot of where we're at these days.  Almost all new/new-ish tunes as well.

Soundguy recorded C'Ville himself, so it should come out solid! I think he's on tour right now though, so it may be a minute before it gets up.

Whenever you get another spare 40 minutes, peep the Black Bart > Not a Crime from Wilmington. Probably my favorite jam of the tour. And, of course, our audience for it consisted of the sound guy, the bar tender and the 4 members of the opening band. lol.

I can hear the thick, funky JBC grease pouring out of my speakers with that first song.

For what is worth, you guys are so much more creative than twiddle. Your cover choices are sick and your originals are sick. I know one day the Jauntee will surpass twiddle and their f'ing reggae jams.

I don't even see how Twiddle can be compared to the Jauntee.
But that's just my opinion.
