In order to get the entire show onto two 80 minute discs, portions of crowd noise between some tracks were removed with crossfades to render the splices smooth/imperceptible. No portions of the musical performance or band member stage utterances were excluded. All editing was done on 24 bit files prior to rendering as above.

The Duane Allman Hour
(1 CDR, 12 Tracks)
This is an hour long radio show that Duane Allman co-hosted
on WPLO-FM, Atlanta in 1970. I recorded the interview portions
from the ABB website but the music tracks were cut out. I've
restored the music tracks, taking a couple of liberties while
doing so, to return it, as closely as I could, to the original
show. It's a fanscinating look into Duane's thinking. He talks
about everything from the state of music at the time, to putting
a band together and Eric Clapton.
The music tracks included
2. Dreams (The Allman Brothers Band)
3. Please Call Home (The Allman Brothers Band)
5. Layla (Derek and the Dominos)
7. I Feel Free (Cream)
9. My Funny Valentine (Miles Davis)

Received. :beers:
I mailed this out today to slslbs.
Only problems at this point are:
- 07-10-2004 d3t01 won't verify
- The Duane Allman Hour is missing track 11 "My Favorite Thing"
(also, the track "11. Closing" should be renamed to "12. Closing")
still haven't heard back from levi, which is weird, he's usually pretty good about this kind of stuff. I'll just ss the track if I ever get it
thanks
levi said he should be able to get to it tonight.....so hopefully I can get it SS'd this week and linked here.

No videos yet
I think Disco is going to post that '04 track once he gets it from Levi.
Also, I found the missing Duane Allman Hour track. PMs sent.

here's the missing track, I had him include the following track (quite small) as well and the ffp
lemme know if you guys have any issues.
I know this question comes up every once in a while, but I can't remember so.....why doesn't abb allow digital trading?? Seems so odd to endorse taping but to not allow convenient ways to trade it.
because they don't
the reason I've heard is that they are afraid it will take away from there Instant Live business. You can pretty much get anything via mail, just have to wait for it.
Doesn't make sense to me. I don't think :phish:, :syf:, Mule or anyone else suffers significantly in sales from d/l's by allowing digital trading of auds but then I'm preaching to the choir. The interesting thing is the Wannee family jam (basically ABB - Gregg + guests) was on bt, Derek is on LMA, just the entire band that prohibits digital.
oh well.
